The CURRE teaches the Japanese system of Reiki in three levels: 

• Shoden—the beginning teachings; the path of self-healing and initial training in treatments and meditation
• Okuden—the hidden teachings; the path of the professional practitioner, includes esoteric teachings about the three centers of subtle energy anatomy, their corresponding symbols and jumon (mantras) and long-distance healing techniques
• Shinpiden—the mystery teachings; the path of the shihan (teacher), receive the transmission to teach the practice  and offer transmission (reiju) to others.
