Yin-Vinyasa Meditative Yoga, Thursdays,
7 to 8:30 pm - This class combines quiet yin practice with a mindful slow
flowing practice. Class begins with yin practice and transitions to a
flowing sequence. Suitable for those comfortable with less verbal
instruction and interested in a meditative flowing practice. Correct change or checks only, please
Price structure: "Gentle" yoga does not mean "easy" yoga. The strength developed in this practice is beyond mere physical strength. Moving slowly and holding poses often brings us powerfully face to face with our physical, mental and emotional "edges." A gentle practice seeks to bring the precepts of loving-kindness and non-harming into the development of physical, emotional and spiritual strength. In this way, the body becomes the vehicle for, rather than an obstacle to, spiritual awakening. Join me for this blissful practice. Discover how physically challenging - and freeing - a mindful and gentle approach to movement can be! A sticky mat and a blanket are recommended. Read students' comments here
